Loaded with amazing lemon flavor this easy Lemon Curd Cake starts with a cake mix and ends with the perfect amount of whipped cream and lemon curd.
Ingredients

1 box white cake mix {15.25 ounces}
1 ¼ cup milk
⅓ cup butter {melted}
3 large eggs
zest one lemon
1 ½ tablespoons poppy seeds
Toppings
lemon curd
8 ounces whipped topping
½ teaspoon poppy seeds
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350℉.
In a large bowl combine the cake mix, milk, melted butter and eggs. Use an electric mixer to mix the ingredients together. Add the lemon zest and poppy seeds to the cake batter and mix by hand until they are evenly incorporated.
Spray a 9×13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and pour the batter into the pan. Spread into an even layer and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out with a few crumbs {but no raw batter}.
