Plum cheesecake

Ingredients

For the dough
300g flour
150g butter or margarine
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 egg
1 packet of vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
125g sugar

For the compote
750 g pitted and quartered plums
40 g cornstarch
3 tablespoons water, cold
For very sour plums, double the amount of sugar!
50g sugar

For the filling
500 g quark (= 18 fluid ounces) (= about 2 cups)
2/3 cup volume or weight (2/3 cup = 150 ml)
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons
2 eggs
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 package (or 3.4 ounces) vanilla pudding powder
75g sugar
Volume or weight (3.4 ounces = 100 grams) is sufficient here too
