I never bought metal sponges, but now I take them in packs: they are indispensable in the house

I have always used metal sponges only to remove burnt food from dishes, but since this method is quite aggressive, I have resorted to them in exceptional cases. When I saw several other ways to use such sponges on the Internet, I started using them more often.

Restore the sharpness of kitchen scissors
If the scissors become dull, simply cut such a sponge with them. You only need to make a few incisions. This way you can restore the sharpness of the grater, the main thing is that the movements are made exclusively from bottom to top.

After this sharpening, rinse the scissors and rasp, as small metal particles remain on the surface.

Garbage collection
A strainer that will be in the sink collects coarse debris, and small debris can easily slip into the pipe and clog the drain.
