Simply the metal buckle that allows you to attach the seat belt.
If it wasn’t there, the buckle would fall to the floor of the car and slide along the fabric.
Result: we had to search for it every time and fumble around before we could get a hold of it.
Luckily, this little button stops its fall. So the buckle always remains within reach.
And we don’t waste time searching everywhere for them unnecessarily.
This invention is brilliant, isn’t it?

A small button on the safety belt of a car
But who had this brilliant idea of creating a button on the seat belt?
Because it sounds so silly, but this kind of thing makes everyday life easier.
Actually, we don’t really know who invented it;. But the correspondence is between the Mercedes and Volvo brands.
These two car manufacturers are pioneers in innovation for passenger comfort and safety.
And this little invention did not go unnoticed, because it was praised by all the other brands.
