Pan-Fried Green Onion and Spinach Flatbread

 

Make the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the warm water, 1 teaspoon salt, and egg. Mix well. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
Prepare the Filling: Mix chopped green onions, spinach, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.

Divide and Roll: Divide the rested dough into equal portions. Roll each portion into a thin circle.
Fill and Shape: Spread the green onion and spinach mixture over half of each dough circle. Fold over to create a semi-circle and press edges to seal.
Cook the Flatbread: Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Cook each flatbread for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Add more butter as needed.
