Green Chili and Garlic Summer Sausage: A Spicy Summer Treat

1. Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, green chiles, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, bread crumbs, milk, and egg. Mix well.
2. Stuff casings: Using a meat grinder or sausage stuffer, stuff the sausage mixture into the summer sausage casings. Tie off the ends of the casings securely.
3. Smoke or grill: Smoke or grill the sausages at 225 degrees Fahrenheit (107 degrees Celsius) until they reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit (71 degrees Celsius). This will take approximately 2-3 hours.
4. Enjoy: Once the sausages are cooked, let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy your Green Chili and Garlic Summer Sausage! 😊
