Ding Dong Cake

Prepare the Cake: Bake the chocolate cake according to the package instructions using the pan size of your choice. Once baked, allow the cake to sit in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, carefully turn the cake out onto a cooling rack and let it cool completely.
Slice the Cake: Once the cake is cooled, slice it in half horizontally. Place one half of the cake back into the bottom of the original pan.
Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and margarine together until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the container of Cool Whip until fully incorporated.
Assemble the Cake: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom cake layer in the pan. Place the second cake layer on top of the filling.
Prepare the Chocolate Frosting: In a small bowl, mix the can of chocolate frosting with 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth and slightly thinner in consistency.
Frost the Cake: Spread the chocolate frosting over the top layer of the cake, covering it completely.
Chill and Serve: Place the cake in the refrigerator to chill for at least an hour before serving. This helps set the layers and enhances the flavors. Keep any leftovers refrigerated.
