Cajun Shrimp and Salmon with Garlic Cream Sauce

Preparing Shrimp and Salmon
Rinse and pat dry the shrimp and salmon.

Season both with the Cajun seasoning and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Once hot, add the shrimp and salmon.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp turn pink and the salmon is cooked through.

Making Garlic Cream Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Peel and chop the potatoes into small chunks.

Boil them in a pot of water for 15-20 minutes or until they are tender.

Drain the water and add the milk and 2 tablespoons of butter.

Mash the potatoes until they reach a creamy consistency.

Cooking Green Beans
Trim the ends of the green beans and add them to a pan with a little bit of oil.

Sauté for 2-3 minutes or until they are tender.

Add garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Serving
To serve, place the cooked shrimp and salmon on a plate, pour the buttery garlic cream sauce over the top, and serve with a side of creamy mashed potatoes and garlic sautéed green beans. This recipe is easy to make, packed with flavor, and sure to be a hit with the whole family.
