Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls

Prepare the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
Add the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, melted butter, and eggs to the yeast mixture. Mix until well combined.
Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
Make the Filling:
In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
Assemble the Rolls:
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
Spread the cinnamon-sugar filling evenly over the dough.
Starting from one of the long sides, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal slices.
Place the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover with a kitchen towel and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
Bake the Rolls:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Once the rolls have risen, bake them for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Prepare the Cream Cheese Icing:
In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Frost the Rolls:
Once the cinnamon rolls are baked and slightly cooled, spread the cream cheese icing over the top. Serve warm.
Serving Suggestion:
These banana bread cinnamon rolls are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. Enjoy them warm with a cup of coffee or tea.
