Gooey Brownie Pie

Oh friends, have I got a dessert for you today that is going to rock your chocolatey world.

This Gooey Brownie Pie is, hands down, one of the richest, most decadent, fudgiest treats you’ll ever have the pleasure of sinking your teeth into.

We’re talking an ultra-thick, dense chocolate brownie base baked up in a pie plate until the center is molten and the top gets that signature crackly crust.

But then you take it one indulgent step further by drizzling the whole thing with an ooey-gooey hot fudge sauce just before serving.

It’s honestly insane in the most delightfully sinful way.

I first came across this mind-blowing dessert while scrolling through my social media feeds one night.

As soon as I saw that cross-section shot of the fudgy interior surrounded by crackly brownie edges, I knew I had to bake it ASAP.

Anything that looks that intensely chocolatey and gooey is an automatic must-make in my book!

Let me just say, it absolutely lived up to the hype.

This brownie pie was every bit as decadent and swoon-worthy as I’d imagined.

In fact, it’s so insanely rich that even a small slice is supremely satisfying.

Though I definitely went back for seconds…and maybe thirds. No judgement!

6 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips divided
3 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
