Mozzarella-Stuffed Spaghetti Meatballs
These meatballs are the perfect comfort food! They’re juicy, cheesy, and smothered in a delicious tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1/2 cup bread crumbs
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/4 cup chopped onion
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 12 mozzarella cheese sticks, cut into 1-inch pieces
– 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
– 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
– 1/2 cup chopped onion
– 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
– 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
– 1 tablespoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
