1-2-3-4 Cake so easy

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy using a mixer.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4. Sift the flour again with the salt and baking powder.
5. Add the vanilla and almond extracts to the creamed mixture.
6. Alternately add the milk and the flour mixture, mixing just until everything is combined.
7. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray and pour in the batter.
8. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
9. Let the cake cool before frosting.
Chocolate Frosting Directions:
1. Mix all frosting ingredients together until smooth.
2. Spread the frosting over the cooled cake.
Notes:
This cake is traditionally baked in three 9-inch cake pans for about 20 minutes per layer. You can also use a bundt pan, which will take about 40 minutes.
